EasyMover Person Transfer System
Lifting patients manually is physically stressful for nursing staff and physiotherapists,
as well as informal caregivers and family members. Current manual lifting procedures and
aids result in high incidence of lower-spine injury to caregivers. Manual lifting also can
result in shoulder sprain and dislocation by patients, especially after stroke.
EasyMover (patent pending) is a unique transfer harness, developed in Israel, in which lifting
forces are safely transferred through pelvic region of both caregiver and patient, by means of
unique coupling system between the harness and caregiver's belt.
EasyMover Prevents back injury of care-giver, by promoting use of more lower-body force and
momentum and less upper limb & lower back effort.
