Unmet needs: is the innovation aimed at a specific target segment in need of innovation and
for whom there does not yet exist a sufficient solution ?
What are the innovation's Unique Selling Points ?
What is the innovation's competitive position ?
What are the forecasted market share, sales price and sales figures ?
Approvals: what is the probability that the innovation will receive a CE-Mark, be approved by the new Medical Device Directives, and be given FDA approval for the U.S market ?
Is the product patentable ?
What are the spin-off possibilities of the product and/or potential for related projects after the end of the project ?
